Subway Surfers x Crossy Road
What do you get when you take two classic endless games and mix them together?
Crossy Road and Subway Surfers collide for the first time ever in an adrenaline-packed crossy-over event! From March 31st to May 11th, this epic collaboration will be dropping in both Crossy Road and Subway Surfers.
Throughout the three-week crossover, both games will offer players special events and unlockable content. In Crossy Road, play in an all-new Subway Surfers World that brings Jake, Tricky, and the rest of the crew on an adventure alongside the iconic cast of Crossy Road. Explore familiar Subway Surfers gameplay
and mechanics, including jetpack rides and magnets.
Subway Surfers’ players will have access to the Crossy Road Challenge where they can run to extend their time and win limited-edition rewards, including Crossy Road-themed characters Chicken Jake and Mallard Tricky.
New World: Subway City
In the new Subway Surfers World, Jake’s in town and the grumpy Guard is hot on your tail feathers as you scramble over endless tracks and on top of passing trains.
Pick up the new Subway Tokens, which you can trade for exclusive Subway Surfers characters & cosmetics. There will be a total of 11 new characters to collect, two of which are exclusively time-limited to the duration of the event, so get running!
New feature: Pickups
Wait…did we say Hoverboards? We sure did. Just like in Subway Surfers, picking up a Hoverboard essentially gives you an extra “life”. Fall off? Pick yourself up and keep on rolling.
Other pickups include the Magnet, which makes collecting coins effortless, and a Jetpack to shoot you high up into the skies where you can collect extra tokens and see the world from a bird’s eye view. Turns out chickens can fly after all.
New feature: Revive
If you fail your run in this update, don’t despair; you can choose to watch an ad to give you a free ‘life’ and continue from where you left off! If you already have the Ad Block pack, this mechanic will still work - it will just be a lot faster, as you won’t have to watch any ads.
This is the first time we’ve added a revive feature to Crossy Road, so we’d love to know your thoughts on it!
New Characters & Cosmetics Every Week!
There will be new characters and cosmetics to trade & unlock each week, so don’t forget to keep checking in!
Week 1 (March 31)
There’s a new troublemaker in town! All players are given the new Jake skin for FREE, which lets them access the new Subway City world.Additionally, you can trade Subway Tokens for Ella and Tagbot, and two new hoverboard cosmetics.
Week 2 (April 7)
Jake’s influence is starting to rub off on the Crossy Road universe, and in Week 2 you can get the unique Jake Chicken - a strictly limited-time character that you can only unlock with Subway Tokens during our Subway Surfers event. After that, she’s gone forever; you won’t even be able to get her via the Prize Machine, so grab Jake Chicken while you can! You’ll also be able to acquire Skye and two new hoverboard cosmetics via the Subway Shop.
Week 3 (April 14)
The final batch of new characters has come to town! The Subway Shop now has Akira, Frank, and another two new hoverboard cosmetics.
You’ll also be able to grab Boombot as a completion reward once you’ve unlocked all previous characters and hoverboards from the event. Like Jake Chicken, Boombot is also a time-limited character, and won’t be available after the event at all.
The event will be available in Crossy Road until May 11th to give you a chance to collect everything!
